Spring Break

Over the spring break all I did was baseball. Whether it was practice or a game, I had baseball everyday during spring break. Our record is 1 win and 2 loses. We should be 3 and 0 but, we totally threw away the first two games. We made to many errors and just couldn't score to come back. Then I went to New York yesterday and ate food. It was a great weekend.

Tech Art

The recent barrage of high-profile cyberattacks has put many companies on edge, but it has also been a boon for developers of new security tools. The "next-generation firewalls" are particularly hot. Traditional firewalls filter out harmful data and pass along legitimate ones. The new breed looks at software applications coming into a corporate network and not only passes out dangerous ones but grants workers a lot of more permissions to use certain apps.

Back In Time

I would go back to 2008 when the Philadelphia Phillies won the world series. I would go back just to relive this moment. I would be sitting on my couch and watching the game with my mom, dad and my sister. I would go back in time just to see the whole game once more. It was a spectacular game and I knew we were going to win. I will always remember the last pitch that was thrown and when everyone crowded the mound. It was a great season in 2008, i wish i could go back to relive it.
This is after the game once Lidge threw the last pitch and everyone crowded the mound.

tech article

Google's new Chromebook Pixel has a very high-resolution screen, Intel Core i5 processor and and a touchscreen. This weeks article is about a touch screen labtop! It is Googles Chromebook Pixel and it is available for order in April. It is $1,299 for the Wi-Fi only version, $1,449 for the LTE model. This is a lot of money but, it could be worth it. It features a 12.85-inch touch-sensitive Gorilla Glass screen. The resolution is 4.3 million pixels, which works out to 239 pixels per inch. (The average Windows laptop has about half that; technically, it also beats the Macbook Retina.)

do now 2-19

If I was a teacher I would include a medical class. This class would be called medical class 101. This class would teach you about the body and ways to cure diseases or to react in serious problems. This classroom has many lab supplies and would go on many field trips to hospitals. This classroom would almost look like a biology lab but would have more medical advances and technology. The students will make posters and hang them up around the classroom.

Tech Article 2-15-13

Any Apple watch would face competition, but most current smart watches rely on smartphone pairing over Bluetooth to get data and notifications. Apple could take the same approach as these devices or put more computing power directly into a watch. This weeks tech article is about the new Apples iwatch. This watch is a smart watch so it has a lot of features. Such as time, heart rate and an ipod imput as you see in the picture. This product is huge for apple because apple is known for only there macs and iphone and tablets. But now they have widened their company by comming out with a smart watch. This is a very smart move and any apple enthusiast will purchase one.

Today's tech article is about Twitter. Twitter was hacked not to long ago and 250,000 accounts were affected. The attackers gained all of the compromised accounts personal email, names, and passwords. This attack also affects the security breaches at New York Times at Wall Street. Which were both attributed by Chinese hackers. This is a serious hack which needs to be address as soon as possible.
This was taken from CNN.com  click here to see the full article
"This week, we detected unusual access patterns that led to us identifying unauthorized access attempts to Twitter user data. We discovered one live attack and were able to shut it down in process moments later," said Bob Lord

This is card only work for: Target, Jamba Juice, Sephora and The Olive Garden right now but is still very cool. The person receiving the message gets a gift icon and once they see this they are notified that a plastic card is coming in the mail. The money amount received in the message can be transferred to the card! Then will be used at the stores listed above.

The ipad 3 might be comming out soon, i have read articles about if it would be a better choice to get the ipad 3 later than to get the ipad2 now. They say it is 2x bigger and has a more sensitive touch screen. This is what they expect to happen, but you can never trust articles that say that they have seen or used this piece of technology. I think it would be better to wait for the ipad3 because it will be a waste of money to get the ipad2 and then have to get the ipad3.

Tech Article

This weeks tech article is about the new Vuzix sports glasses. They look like the type of classes that the spy kids would wear, but they are not fake. These sports glasses displays web browsing and video usage while still bieng able to see what is in front of you. So say you are on the run but you need to get your tech article done for web 2.0, you can just wear these glasses and go to the web browser stage and then search away. You would need to hook up to a computer keyboard to type though. But I still think it is a great new helpful invention

1-4 do now

How I keep my computer organized? I use my folders that i create to keep all of my photos videos and documents. I have a different folder to contain different items from various places or times. For example I create folders for the different seasons where I download all my pictures. I have a folder for 6th grade 7th grade and so on and so forth. I think keeping everything in folders will help you find everything quicker than before. It is the process of assigning short, descriptive labels to digital information. Social bookmarking is the setting or organizing blogs or web sites. You can use tagging in Facebook to tell a person that he is there. Also if you want to create a web that any1 can join or comment two.

tech art

This weeks tech article is about the mac book pro. I am doing this weeks tech art about the mac book pro because recently my sister got one for college. This labtop is very good because it has a 13 inch wide screen and has a very smooth keypad. When my sister purchased this labtop she got many accesories that she says are essential piece. My dad also commented in and said that even though he hasn't used a mac yet and loves hp and dell. He says that this mac is very well built and that he should get one.
